Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin Is Engaged
Ginnifer Goodwin, one of the stars of HBO's hit show "Big Love," has announced her engagement to boyfriend Joey Kern. The pair have been dating for two years. Kern is also an actor, known for roles in movies such as "Super Troopers," though he hasn't had the success in Hollywood that she has. He did, however, design the engagement ring that he proposed to her with.
In addition to "Big Love," she also received critical acclaim for her roles in "Mona Lisa Smile" and "He's Just Not That Into You." The latter earned her a People's Choice Award for Breakout Actress in 2009.
They are planning to marry in the fall of 2011. Given the high divorce rate among Hollywood couples, it is expected of most actors and actresses to sign a prenuptial agreement before marrying. This is especially common when one partner's net worth is significantly higher than the other's.
