George Lopez and Wife Filing for Divorce
Comedian George Lopez and his wife, Ann Lopez, are divorcing after 17 years of marriage.
According to a short statement released to the press, they have been talking about divorce and the details of it for awhile. They also said that they are splitting amicably and that the divorce was a mutual decision.
They have a 15 year old daughter, Mayan. It is likely that they will seek joint custody of their daughter.
They also will continue to work together on their business and on The Ann and George Lopez Foundation, which helps disadvantaged children and adults.
