Courtney Cox and David Arquette Separate
Courtney Cox, best known for her role as Monica Gellar on the hit TV show "Friends," and her husband David Arquette have announced their separation. Arquette and Cox met on the set of the 1996 horror flick "Scream," and have been married for 11 years. They have a six year old daughter together. Although the couple had previously said that they were open to the idea of adoption, that seems unlikely now.
Since announcing their split, Arquette has gone on air about the grievances in their relationship, and admits that he has been seeing another woman. The pair has stated that they remain good friend and that they are committed to putting their daughter first. It is unknown whether they will seek joint custody if they decide to divorce.
According to some reports, Cox's friend Jennifer Aniston is rooting for the couple to get back together. Arquette has also stated that he hopes that they will not divorce.
