Huffington Post Now Has Divorce Section
When you go to read the paper, whether paper or online, you often expect to see sections such as "Sports" "Arts and Entertainment" and "Local News." What you may not expect to see, especially in a paper that is best known for its political coverage, is a section titled "Divorce." Huffington Post, a hyper-connected online paper that tends to lean quite liberally, now has a Divorce section.
The section is meant to provide guidance to those who are going through a separation or divorce. It has articles about telling your kids the news and dating again after divorce. With such a high divorce rate in America, it is no wonder that people are searching more and more for direction, connection, and comfort. The site will also have aphorisms about falling out of love.
The idea is supported by editor-in-chief Ariana Huffington, who had an overwhelming response when she wrote about her vacation with her kids and ex-husband.
