Country Singer Randy Travis Divorcing Wife of 19 Years
Randy Travis, renown country singer who has won six Grammys, has divorced from his manager-wife, Elizabeth.
The couple had been married 19 years. They met when Randy was 17 and performing at a club in Charlotte, NC. Elizabeth, who owned the club, saw his talent and took him on as a cook and a singer when they moved to Nashville. They were married in 1991.
Travis has also won six CMA awards, ten AMAs, and nine ACMs. Additionally, he has had 16 number one hits on the Billboard charts. One of his most famous songs is "Three Wooden Crosses." Elizabeth will continue to be his music manager.
They do not have any children together and it has not been stated whether they had a prenuptial agreement or if either spouse will be paying spousal support.
