Charlie Sheen Files for Divorce
Almost 10 months after the Christmas Day drama that put Charlie Sheen's personal life once again into the spotlight, Sheen has filed for divorce.
His soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Muller is planning on starring in a reality show, which prompted Sheen to file for divorce solely and earlier than they had originally planned. Sheen has been in the news since last Christmas when he was arrested on felony domestic violence charges. Muller had called police claiming that he had a knife to her throat. The charges were later reduced to misdemeanor assault.
Sheen, who is the star of the popular show "Two and a Half Men" will reportedly be paying around $55,000 a month in child support and will pay over $700,000 in a one-time alimony payment. He is seeking joint custody of their twin 1 year old sons.
The couple has been separated since their infamous Christmas Day fight.
