Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston Engaged

Although just recently they were publicly battling child custody and child support issues, Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, and the father of her child, Levi Johnston, have announced that they are engaged and hope to be wed within the next six weeks.
Bristol Palin made headlines when she became pregnant at 17 during her mother's failed vice presidential bid. The relationship deteriorated throughout the campaign and after, and Johnston made a series of public comments regarding Sarah Palin, accusing her of being in it for the money, among other things.
In the past few weeks, Johnston and Bristol Palin have reconciled and Johnston has apologized for his remarks about her family, saying that they were not entirely truthful.
Their son, Tripp, is now 18 months old. The couple hopes to be wed in Alaska this summer.
