Actress Hilary Duff Marries NHL Star

Hilary Duff, best known for her years as a Disney actress on the show Lizzie McGuire and for her roles in many teen movies, married her boyfriend Mike Comrie last weekend. Although only 22, she and Comrie have been dating for over two years and he proposed last February while the couple was vacationing.
The two tied the knot in Montecito, California without around 100 guests. Duff's sister was her maid of honor and her mother walked her down the aisle. There was a small issue the morning of the wedding when Duff chipped her tooth. The wedding planner had to sneak her out of the property and get her to a dentist, who was able to fix it within an hour.
Duff and Comrie signed a prenuptial agreement, although not for the reasons some might think. Comrie, who is a player for the National Hockey League, is also the heir to a $500 million fortune. Duff is worth about $25 million. The two have stated that they do not plan to divorce, and that the prenuptial agreement was only a technicality.
